RetroArms CNC Low-Profile 9 mm Plain Bearings are manufactured by precision CNC turning from high-quality 90MnCrV8 (1.2842) steel and heat-treated to a hardness of 58 HRC. The low-profile design is particularly suitable for V2 gearboxes, where standard bearings may interfere with the selector plate. The package contains 6 bearings.

For more than 25 years, we know what you like about airsoft.
RetroArms plain bearings are designed for gearboxes with cylindrical bearing holes. The low profile prevents contact with the selector plate, so it does not affect its function or movement. Thanks to the high-quality steel and 58 HRC hardness, the bearings are also suitable for high loads. The bearings have a diameter approximately 0.04 mm larger than the hole in the gearbox, so they must be pressed or carefully tapped into place during installation.
The bearings are made of high-quality 90MnCrV8 (1.2842) steel, which is suitable for highly stressed gearbox components.
After heat treatment, the material reaches a hardness of 58 HRC, making the bearings suitable for use under high loads.
The bearings have a low profile, which prevents them from contacting the selector plate in V2 gearboxes and restricting its movement.
The bearings can be used in gearboxes with cylindrical bearing holes measuring 9 mm in diameter. The specific diameter must be selected according to the variant.
The outer diameter of the bearings is approximately 0.04 mm larger than the hole in the gearbox, preventing them from falling out once properly installed.
We recommend generously lubricating the plain bearings with grease. For installation, the bearings must be carefully tapped into the gearbox, for example using a spring guide and ideally a copper hammer. For additional securing, a suitable threadlocker can be used, such as Loctite 243 or a similar product.
