RetroArms Support Block for AK Hop-Up Unit
RetroArms CNC support block replaces the original plastic block that holds the AK hop-up unit in the gun body. Thanks to its construction from EN AW 7075 aluminum, it provides a secure unit mounting and prevents unwanted rotation. It also includes a separate guide plate, along which the magazine catch slides, helping guide the magazine into the correct position. This makes reloading easier and reduces problems caused by incorrectly seated magazines. The block is compatible with AK guns that use a hop-up unit with the original plastic support block.

For AK Guns with a Plastic Support Block
It fits AK-type airsoft guns that use a hop-up unit with a plastic support block. It is not intended for models that do not use this block, such as some AK47 models with polymer bodies.
Installation Procedure
- During installation, the gun must be disassembled as usual, the hop-up unit removed, and the original plastic block taken out.
- The CNC support block can be used with the RetroArms CNC hop-up unit or the original zinc-alloy unit.
- First, attach the support block to the unit without the guide plate and insert the complete assembly back into the gun body.
- Next, install the gearbox and the other gun components. The guide plate is installed as the final step.
- Flat-head and countersunk screws are included for installation. A 2.5 mm Allen key is required for tightening them.
- The guide plate screws can be secured with threadlocker if necessary.
- The support block is supplied disassembled into individual parts.
