RetroArms Reinforced Piston with 16 Steel Teeth is a durable AEG piston with a Polyamide PA6.6 body reinforced with 30% carbon fiber and 5% molybdenum. The steel rack made of spring steel 14260 (54SiCr6) is CNC machined and subsequently hardened to a hardness of 52–54 HRC. The design is also suitable for setups with very strong springs.

For more than 25 years, we know what you like about airsoft.
4UAD008
4UANTUM HEAT Lubricant (Grease) for gears by 4UAD in gray. Special lubricant resistant to high friction temperatures. Designed for AEG gearboxes, including DSG / TSG setups. Maintains optimal adhesion even at extreme temperatures. Easy application without mess thanks to the applicator pen.
SPARMS439
Specna Arms silicone grease in a practical 50g package is an essential service lubricant for airsoft gun maintenance. It is particularly suitable for O-rings, seals, AEG pneumatic systems, GBB valves and HPA systems. It helps reduce friction, protects sealing components from drying out and extends their service life.
SPARMS441
Specna Arms ceramic grease in a practical 50 g package is a service lubricant for highly stressed moving and mechanical parts of airsoft guns. It is particularly suitable for gearbox gears, the piston rack and heavily loaded sliding surfaces. Ceramic additives help reduce friction and protect components against wear.
The new generation of steel-toothed piston with 16 teeth combines a reinforced polymer body with a durable steel rack. The body made of PA6.6 with 30% carbon fiber and 5% molybdenum is designed to withstand high mechanical loads. The steel rack made of 14260 (54SiCr6) is CNC machined and subsequently hardened. With a hardness of 52–54 HRC, the teeth remain strong while retaining the flexibility required for reliable operation. The piston is also suitable for setups with the strongest springs. Do not lubricate the polymer body; it is designed to run dry, while grease should only be applied to the steel rack.
The body is made of Polyamide PA6.6 with 30% carbon fiber and 5% molybdenum, designed to withstand high loads.
The rack is made of spring steel 14260 (54SiCr6), combining the strength and flexibility required for a heavily loaded gear mechanism.
After annealing, the steel rack is precisely milled on a CNC machining center and subsequently heat treated.
The steel rack is hardened to 52–54 HRC, providing hard yet sufficiently flexible teeth without unnecessary brittleness.
The piston can also be used in high-performance setups with the strongest springs. For proper lubrication, grease should only be applied to the steel rack.
Do not lubricate the polymer body and use it dry. Apply grease only to the steel rack. Contamination of the polymer body with oil or grease may lead to material degradation and reduced strength.
