Baofeng UV-5R is a compact dual-band radio that operates in both the VHF and UHF bands. You can easily tune in shared frequencies on the VHF and UHF bands, marine frequencies, converters, PMR channels, etc.

The differences between all lines of Baofeng UV-5 radios are only visual / cosmetic. From a technical point of view and in terms of package contents, the radios are the same.
