AirsoftPro POM Flat Piston Head with Bearing
The piston head is made from durable POM (polyoxymethylene), a polymer known for its low weight and excellent mechanical strength. During each shot, compressed air is directed through 8 air channels beneath the piston head. The primary O-ring expands under pressure, improving the air seal of the compression assembly. The second O-ring keeps the piston head precisely centered inside the cylinder, helping guide the piston and reducing cylinder wall wear. The integrated ball bearing allows the spring to rotate freely during compression, reducing resistance while cocking and contributing to smoother gearbox operation. Weighing only 8 g, this piston head is ideal for high-speed builds using springs up to M150. Although a locking washer is included, we recommend applying thread-locking compound to the screw to prevent the piston head from coming loose. This is a common mistake made by inexperienced technicians and can result in severe damage to the cylinder and other gearbox components.
