The result is a combination of both types of support according to the load placed on the individual gears. The shell design also takes precise assembly and tuning into account. An inspection window allows the relative position of the piston and sector gear to be checked when setting the AOE. The shell also offers trigger travel adjustment, centring holes for more precise positioning in the gun body and a reinforced front section with radiused corners to resist cracking.
