GUARDER Magazine Spring is a replacement internal mechanism for compatible winding, or Hi-Cap, airsoft magazines. When wound using the wheel, its purpose is to store energy in the spring and generate the pressure required to move BBs into the magazine feed channel. It is therefore a service part for situations where the original winding mechanism no longer holds tension, is mechanically damaged or can no longer reliably feed BBs. The construction combines steel and plastic, and the complete mechanism weighs 18 g. GUARDER lists it for Marui M4 / AK / G3 magazine series; it can also be used with structurally corresponding magazines for other platforms, such as Steyr.
