AirsoftParts silicone oil (30 ml) is a 100% pure silicone oil without thinners or solvents designed for maintaining both AEG and gas-powered airsoft guns. It does not degrade plastics or rubber seals and is particularly suitable for lubricating AEG air seal systems. Depending on typical consumption, the 30 ml package is sufficient for servicing...
AirsoftParts AEG spring is made from high-quality valve spring wire manufactured in Germany. The spring undergoes heat treatment and uses variable coil spacing, giving it progressive characteristics for easier spring compression during the initial phase, thereby reducing strain on the motor and battery and potentially increasing RoF. AirsoftParts springs are designed with an emphasis on maintaining stable force during long-term use and limiting performance changes caused by gradual spring fatigue. For easier identification of individual variants, the end of the spring is color-coded. The spring is compatible with standard V2, V3, V6 and V7 gearboxes, but is not designed for special extended configurations such as V4 (PSG-1), V2.5 (SR-25) or L85. When replacing the spring, we recommend considering the entire gun configuration, as the resulting muzzle velocity depends not only on the spring rating but also on the air seal, barrel length and diameter, cylinder used and other components in the setup.
| Model | Spring Rating | Estimated Muzzle Velocity | Estimated Muzzle Energy | Color Code |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AP100 | M100 | 98–110 m/s | 0.95–1.20 J | Gray |
| AP110 | M110 | 107–122 m/s | 1.14–1.49 J | Green |
| AP120 | M120 | 119–131 m/s | 1.41–1.72 J | Red |
| AP130 | M130 | 125–143 m/s | 1.56–2.05 J | Yellow |
| AP140 | M140 | 137–149 m/s | 1.88–2.23 J | Blue |
| AP150 | M150 | 149–177 m/s | 2.23–3.13 J | White |
| AP160 | M160 | 171–186 m/s | 2.91–3.46 J | Orange |
* The stated values are approximate manufacturer figures when using AirsoftParts internal components. Muzzle velocity and energy are approximate calculations for 0.20g BBs. Actual performance may vary depending on the specific gun setup, air seal, barrel length and diameter, hop-up system and other components used.
The spring is made from valve spring wire manufactured in Germany specifically for this application and designed for long-term cyclic loading.
Variable coil spacing creates progressive spring characteristics suitable for use in AEG gearboxes.
The manufacturing process includes heat treatment of the spring, which is important for its mechanical properties and long-term stability under repeated compression.
The spring is designed to maintain the most consistent force possible throughout its service life, helping to limit gradual changes in the performance of the setup.
The end of the spring is color-coded, making individual performance variants easier to identify when building or servicing the gearbox.
When installing a progressively wound spring, the tightly wound section (where the coils are closer together) must face the spring guide.
The spring replacement procedure differs significantly depending on whether your gun has a quick spring change system (QSC – Quick Spring Change) or whether the gearbox must be completely disassembled, which voids the warranty and should therefore only be done by an experienced technician. With QSC systems, release the spring guide, remove the old spring from the guide and install the new one. If you are using this or another progressive spring, the more tightly wound coils must face the spring guide.
Variable coil spacing creates progressive characteristics, so at the beginning of the cycle, when the piston starts moving backward, the spring provides less resistance. This allows the motor to start more easily, reach full speed faster and consume less energy. Full resistance occurs only during the final phase of compression.
No. In addition to the spring, the resulting performance is also affected by the air seal, cylinder, piston assembly, nozzle, hop-up bucking and inner barrel parameters. After installation, we therefore recommend always verifying the resulting muzzle energy with a chronograph.
The spring is compatible with standard V2, V3, V6 and V7 gearboxes. It is not designed for special configurations such as PSG-1, SR25 or L85.
