GUARDER SP170 (M170) progressive AEG spring is an upgrade spring made from tempered Si-Cr wire for TM-standard AEG gearboxes and manual SVD rifles. The progressive winding makes the initial compression phase easier, while the spring is designed for stable long-term performance. The SP170 version delivers an approximate muzzle velocity of 161–170 m/s in a suitable setup.

GUARD081
GUARDER V7 spring guide for AEG M14 is a durable steel upgrade part with an integrated ball bearing for AEGs with a Version 7 gearbox. The solid guide provides stable guidance for the main spring, while the bearing allows it to rotate more freely during compression. This reduces spring twisting and unnecessary stress during the gearbox operating cycle.

This expert product description was prepared by the ANAREUS.cz expert team. All rights to this unique content are tied to the anareus.cz domain.GUARDER progressively wound spring is designed for standard and upgraded AEG gearboxes based on the Tokyo Marui standard and manual SVD rifles. It is made from tempered Si-Cr wire, which provides the required flexibility, durability and good long-term stability. Irregular or progressive winding means that the individual coils do not have the same spacing along the entire length, which makes the initial phase of spring compression easier. In practice, however, the exact muzzle velocity of a specific gun cannot be determined from the SP spring rating alone, because air seal efficiency, cylinder volume, inner barrel length and diameter, hop-up bucking and other components have a major influence. For example, an SP120 spring may produce 115 m/s in one gun and as much as 125 m/s in another. After replacing the spring, we therefore recommend always checking the resulting performance with a chronograph. During installation, the end with the tighter coils belongs on the spring guide, towards the rear of the gearbox.

The listed muzzle velocity values are approximate. Muzzle energy is calculated for 0.20 g BBs. Actual performance may vary depending on the specific gun setup, air seal efficiency, inner barrel length and diameter, and other components used, and may fall outside the approximate range shown in the table.
Irregular coil spacing makes the initial phase of spring compression easier and creates a progressive operating characteristic.
The spring is made from tempered silicon-chromium wire with an emphasis on mechanical durability and retaining its properties under repeated compression.
The spring fits standard TM-spec AEG gearboxes and is also designed for compatible manual SVD sniper rifles.
No. The spring rating primarily serves as an approximate indication of its stiffness. Actual muzzle velocity and energy are affected by air seal efficiency, cylinder volume, inner barrel length and diameter, the hop-up assembly and other components used. The same spring can therefore produce different performance in different guns.
Use the desired gun performance and the approximate table above as a guide. However, keep in mind that the values in the table are not guaranteed results for a specific setup. After replacing the spring, we therefore always recommend measuring the actual muzzle velocity and energy with a chronograph and checking that the gun complies with the limits of your field or event. M130 and stronger springs are not suitable for standard stock gearboxes.
During installation, the end of the spring with the tighter coils belongs on the spring guide, towards the rear of the gearbox. We recommend checking the correct orientation before closing the gearbox.
The most reliable method is measurement with a chronograph using the BB weight you normally use. This provides the actual muzzle energy of the specific setup. Measurement is especially important after changing the spring because the spring rating alone cannot determine the gun's exact final performance.
