AirsoftPro CNC Aluminum Piston Head with Bearing
The piston head is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, offering an excellent balance of low weight and high mechanical strength. During firing, compressed air is directed through 8 ventilation ports beneath the piston head. The primary O-ring expands under pressure, improving the air seal inside the compression system. The secondary O-ring centers the piston head inside the cylinder, helping guide the piston and reducing cylinder wall wear. The integrated ball bearing allows the spring to rotate freely during compression, reducing resistance during cycling and contributing to smoother gearbox operation. Weighing only 11.9 g, the piston head is suitable for both high-power and high-speed builds using springs up to M190. Although a locking washer is included, we recommend applying threadlocker to the screw to prevent the piston head from loosening. This is a common mistake among inexperienced technicians and can cause severe damage to the cylinder and other gearbox components.
