Specna Arms ceramic grease for highly stressed moving parts

This expert product description was prepared by the ANAREUS.cz expert team. All rights to this unique content are bound to the anareus.cz domain.Specna Arms ceramic grease is a service lubricant designed primarily for mechanically stressed moving parts of airsoft guns. Ceramic additives help create a durable lubricating layer between contact surfaces that reduces friction and limits mechanical wear. In an AEG gearbox, it is particularly suitable for gears, the steel piston rack and other heavily loaded sliding surfaces. It is especially useful where gears are exposed to higher mechanical loads, for example in more powerful M130+ upgrade builds or configurations with a high RoF. Ceramic grease provides a more durable alternative for demanding mechanical applications, while PTFE grease can be used for standard gear setups and silicone grease for O-rings, seals and air seal components. The basic servicing rule also applies here – apply only a thin layer of lubricant. Excess grease can increase mechanical resistance, attract dirt and be dispersed throughout the gearbox at high speeds. The hop-up bucking and inner barrel must always remain clean and dry.

Key features of Specna Arms ceramic grease

For high mechanical loads

Ceramic additives help protect heavily stressed contact surfaces and reduce friction and mechanical wear.

For gearbox gears

Suitable for lubricating the bevel, spur and sector gears, particularly in AEG builds exposed to higher mechanical loads.

Piston rack and sliding surfaces

It can also be used on the steel piston rack and heavily stressed mechanical contact surfaces exposed to repeated friction.

For demanding M130+ AEG builds

A suitable choice for more powerful upgrades, high-load gear setups and high-speed builds where mechanical components are exposed to increased stress.

50 g service package

The practical package provides enough grease for repeated servicing and regular maintenance of airsoft guns.

Recommendations and warnings

  • Apply only a thin and even layer of grease to gears and other moving parts. Excess grease does not provide better protection and may increase mechanical resistance.
  • For O-rings, seals and air seal components, we recommend using silicone grease designed for these parts.
  • Do not apply grease to the hop-up bucking or inner barrel. Grease in these areas can significantly impair hop-up performance, accuracy and range.
  • During a complete service, it is advisable to remove old and contaminated grease before applying fresh lubricant and to inspect the condition of the gears, piston rack and other mechanical components.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What is ceramic grease used for in airsoft?

Primarily for lubricating mechanically stressed moving parts, such as gearbox gears, the steel piston rack and suitable sliding surfaces. It is particularly useful in builds exposed to higher mechanical loads, for example with M130+ springs or a RoF above 20 BB/s.

What is the difference between ceramic and PTFE grease?

PTFE grease is a versatile choice for standard gears and mechanical sliding surfaces. Ceramic grease is particularly suitable where mechanical components are exposed to higher loads and intensive operation.

Can I use ceramic grease on the piston O-ring?

For the piston O-ring and other sealing elements, we recommend a suitable silicone grease. Ceramic grease is primarily intended for mechanically stressed moving parts and gears.
