The name HAL is derived from the principle of the Hall effect, allowing the unit to precisely sense trigger movement. It also increases the rate of fire and enables safe use of Li-Pol batteries 7.4V and 11.1V. The rifle also features a completely redesigned reinforced gearbox designated ÆTHER, capable of handling AEG springs up to M140. Accuracy is ensured by a 6.03 mm inner barrel, paired with a Helium Flat-hop bucking in the redesigned MAGNUS™ chamber with a TDC pressure system. Also included is the ESA QSC quick spring change system, allowing you to install a stronger or weaker spring without removing the gearbox from the receiver—everything is done easily through the buffer tube.

Warning

• Some manufacturers’ springs are overrated (e.g. M130 may equal M140–150). Use Specna Arms springs only, or choose M120 springs from other brands.
• When installing progressive springs, ensure the tighter coils face outward from the gearbox.
• Never store the replica with the battery connected.

Initial Setup

To start using the rifle, the HAL ETU unit must be activated by following this exact procedure, otherwise the replica will not respond to a connected battery:

1. Set the selector to Safe.
2. Connect the battery and wait 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
3. Pull and hold the trigger for 5 seconds until another beep sounds.
4. The replica is now ready for use.
