AirsoftParts ULTRA LIGHT HP-ULTRA piston head is designed with an emphasis on minimizing the weight of the piston assembly. It is CNC-machined from TECAFORM (POM) engineering plastic and, thanks to its carefully lightened design, weighs only 5.4 g. The front features 9 holes through which air flows beneath the sealing O-ring during compression, expanding it against the cylinder wall and promoting effective sealing. Another 8 holes on the rear significantly reduce weight. The design deliberately omits the 3.8 g axial ball bearing and instead uses a lightweight 1.5 g TECAFORT washer of the same dimensions. The lower moving mass means less energy in the piston assembly on impact and may also affect the dynamics of its movement. The manufacturer therefore recommends this piston head for springs up to M130 and states compatibility with V2, V3 and V7 gearboxes. Made in the Czech Republic.
