Compared with materials that harden significantly in cold conditions, silicone retains its properties better, helping to maintain the seal between the nozzle, bucking and barrel as well as consistent pressure on the BBs during year-round use. The 50 sh hardness provides a softer configuration suitable for setups with M90 to M120 springs. During installation, we recommend carefully degreasing the contact surface inside the barrel, correctly seating the bucking's guide ridge in the barrel groove and checking that the bucking does not rotate or deform after assembly. The resulting hop-up effect also depends on the barrel, hop-up unit, pressure system, BBs and overall tuning of the air seal system.
