GUARDER 70 sh hop-up bucking in black is a harder replacement bucking for higher-powered AEGs. The 70 sh hardness provides firmer pressure on the BBs and is particularly suitable for stronger setups where a softer bucking may not be optimal. For this version, we recommend springs of approximately M130–M170. A hop-up nub is also included in the package.

Suitable for plastic and rubber parts without risk of material degradation. Rotating applicator for easy application and convenient portability. Keep it smooth, keep it shooting – don't let your gears run dry!
GUARDER hop-up bucking with a hardness of 70 sh is designed primarily for higher-powered AEG setups where higher BB velocity requires corresponding hop-up system characteristics. The harder material deforms less under pressure and is suitable for use with springs of approximately M130 to M170. When correctly installed, the bucking also provides a seal between the nozzle and inner barrel and applies the required backspin to the BBs through its contact patch. A hardness of 70° does not automatically mean better results in every gun – in practice, it is important to match the bucking to the performance of the setup, the weight of the BBs used, the pressure, hop-up unit and inner barrel. During installation, we recommend carefully degreasing the contact surface inside the barrel and checking the correct orientation and seating of the bucking. A hop-up nub is also included in the package.
The harder 70 sh version is particularly suitable for higher-powered AEG setups, where it provides firmer and less compliant pressure on the BBs.
We recommend the bucking primarily for setups with springs of approximately M130 to M170. Final suitability also depends on the other components of the hop-up and air seal systems.
At higher power levels, the harder material helps maintain consistent pressure transfer to the BBs and create the required backspin for their flight.
The bucking is designed as a replacement or upgrade component for AEG hop-up systems. Before installation, it is advisable to verify dimensional compatibility with the specific unit and barrel.
Along with the hop-up bucking, you also receive a hop-up nub that transfers pressure from the hop-up unit arm to the bucking.
We recommend this harder version primarily for higher-powered AEGs with springs of approximately M130 to M170. However, the spring rating alone is not the only criterion – muzzle energy, BB weight and the design of the entire hop-up system are also important.
No. The bucking hardness should be selected according to the specific setup. A bucking that is too hard for a lower-powered gun may require more pressure and may not provide the optimal hop-up effect.
Yes. The package contains both the hop-up bucking and a hop-up nub, which transfers pressure from the hop-up unit arm to the bucking.
During installation, we recommend checking the correct orientation of the bucking, its seating on the inner barrel and the cleanliness of the contact surface. Oil or grease on the contact surface can significantly reduce friction between the bucking and BBs, thereby impairing the function of the hop-up system.
