It is suitable for repairing a damaged original trigger as well as for building a more durable gearbox from scratch. Its main advantage is the steel construction with a blackened finish, which offers high mechanical durability and provides a significantly more robust solution than basic triggers made from softer zinc or aluminium alloys by manufacturers other than LCT. The trigger shape is based on the classic AKM / AK-74 ergonomics and, thanks to dimensions corresponding to the V3 standard, it is suitable for all LCT AK guns, including the LCK47, LCKM, LCK-74, AK-105, RPK and PP-19 series. In our experience, a steel trigger makes particular sense in heavily used AEGs and higher-performance upgrade builds, where the customer does not want the mechanically stressed trigger blade to become a weak point of the entire assembly.
