Gens ACE is a trusted manufacturer of batteries for airsoft, RC models, and FPV applications. This 11.1V Li-Pol battery is designed for players looking for faster trigger response and a higher RoF without upgrading internal components. Compared to older NiMH batteries, it offers higher efficiency and more stable performance while remaining smaller than comparable Li-Ion batteries, making it easy to fit directly inside your rifle without the need for a PEQ battery box or a battery pouch. This preserves the clean look of your rifle, something every Mil-Sim player appreciates. The battery features a T-Dean connector and a balance connector for safe charging and long service life. For charging 11.1V batteries, we recommend using a 20 W or more powerful charger.
11.1V Li-Pol batteries require a sufficiently powerful charger. Low-power 10 W chargers (such as the IMAX B3) may not charge the battery correctly and charging times will be excessively long. Always use a quality charger with at least 20 W output.
Honestly, usually not. At 193 mm long it's too long for a standard buffer tube. Most M4 buffer tubes accept batteries up to around 130 mm. Exceptions include some extended buffer tubes, but for most M4 rifles we recommend a shorter buffer stick or a crane/nunchuck battery. This battery is much better suited for AK gas tube compartments or rifles such as the ASG CZ805 Bren.
Yes. It fits under the top cover of most LCT AK and Specna Arms J-Series rifles. The available space still depends on the specific model and wiring layout. Upgraded wiring or an ETU may reduce available room slightly, but this battery size is generally considered very AK-friendly.
Expect roughly 1,200–1,600 shots per charge in a typical AEG with a standard motor and an M110–M120 spring. Efficient builds or mostly semi-auto use can increase that figure. Pairing the battery with a brushless motor can extend it to as many as 5,000 shots, depending on the spring and build.
Brushless motors are considerably more efficient, so achieving 3,000+ shots per charge is common, depending on the setup. They also draw less current during startup, making the combination of a Li-Pol battery and a brushless motor beneficial for both performance and battery life. Well-tuned builds with proper AoE correction, perfect shimming, and a moderate spring can even reach around 5,000 shots.
No. If your rifle does not have a MOSFET or ETU, an 11.1V battery can eventually damage the mechanical trigger contacts. For basic AEGs without electronic protection, a 7.4V battery is the safer choice. This battery is intended for modern builds where fast trigger response and higher RoF are the priority.
You'll typically notice a slower RoF and reduced trigger response. If your rifle has an ETU, it will usually warn you or shut itself down. Recharge the battery immediately, as fully discharging Li-Pol batteries can permanently damage them. A voltage buzzer is also a great accessory, allowing you to monitor the battery voltage in real time.
