KMCS Ultra-Lite FACE COVER neck gaiter
The face is one of the most distinctive and easily recognisable parts of the human body, so it can easily reveal the position of an otherwise well-camouflaged player. The KMCS Ultra-Lite FACE COVER is designed to help break up the characteristic shape of the face while reducing skin reflections and contrasting shadows. It is made from the same lightweight camouflage fabric as other products in the KMCS Ultra-Lite range, providing effective coverage without the bulk and significant heat retention typical of heavier head coverings. Thanks to its breathable and ultralight construction, it can be worn around the neck like a conventional neck gaiter and pulled over the face within seconds. When packed, it takes up minimal space and easily fits into a pocket, pouch or backpack. The material meets IRR / NIT requirements. The FACE COVER can be used on its own or combined with other KMCS Ultra-Lite components. It is suitable for airsoft and MilSim, as well as observation, hunting or wildlife photography.

Why is it important to cover the face when using camouflage?
The human face has a very characteristic shape and regular proportions, while exposed skin can reflect light. The FACE COVER helps suppress these visual features and visually integrate the head with the rest of the camouflage.
Will the neck gaiter become too hot during extended wear?
KMCS uses lightweight and breathable Ultra-Lite fabric, specifically designed to provide less bulk and lower heat retention than heavier types of camouflage equipment.
What does IRR/NIT mean?
It means that the material is designed with consideration for its properties when observed using equipment operating in the near-infrared spectrum. The aim is to reduce unwanted contrast of camouflaged equipment when used with compatible night vision devices.
