Specna Arms AK from the J-Series CORE™ Gen.2

The Specna Arms AK-74S (SA-J74 CORE™ HAL ETU Gen.2) replica stands out with its high-quality external nylon body, which features a matte finish and highly realistic appearance. Reinforced with glass fibers, the body is very durable and lightweight. Key parts such as the outer barrel, gas block, sights, and barrel mounts are made of metal, while various small parts and screws are even made of steel. The rifle has a polymer handguard and metal folding stock. The battery is placed under the dust cover, and stick-type batteries are recommended.
Right out of the box, the AK comes with a 6.03 mm precision inner barrel, which improves accuracy and shot grouping. Gen.2 is newly equipped with an adjustable Magnus™ TDC hop-up chamber with a quality bucking. The ORION™ V3 gearbox, known for its reliability, is reinforced and supports springs up to M120 (as stated by manufacturer Specna Arms). It features a QSC quick spring change system (ESA2), allowing you to install a stronger or weaker spring as needed. To replace the spring, it is not necessary to dismantle the gearbox from the rifle body. Inside, you'll find premium upgrade components such as 16:1 gear set, metal nozzle, and reinforced piston with 14.5 metal teeth. The gun is designed for S-MAG magazines (magazines from Cyma, JG, or E&L may also fit with minor adjustments).

HAL ETU™ Unit

The cherry on top is the HAL ETU™ electronic processor unit, which takes the rifle's performance to a whole new level. The name HAL comes from the principle of the Hall effect, which enables the unit to detect trigger sensitivity. The HAL ETU™ unit offers the following functions:

Warnings

• When replacing a spring with progressive (irregular) winding, ensure the tightly wound end faces outward from the gearbox.
• Never store the rifle with the battery connected.
• Never store the rifle with precocking enabled. Always release the piston before storage to avoid spring damage.

HAL ETU unit activation before first use

To make the rifle shoot, you must activate the HAL ETU unit exactly following this procedure, otherwise the rifle will not respond to the connected battery:

1. Set the fire selector to SAFE.
2. Connect the battery and wait 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
3. Hold the trigger for 5 seconds until you hear another beep.
4. The rifle is now ready for use.
