Can I safely use this spray on boots made from both leather and nylon (Cordura)?

Yes, that is one of the biggest advantages of NANO Waterstop. The formula is designed to work effectively on multiple material types at the same time. There is no need to worry about where the leather ends and the textile begins. Simply apply the spray evenly over the entire boot, including laces and seams, to create comprehensive protection against water penetration.

Will the treatment clog the pores of expensive Gore-Tex boots and make my feet sweat?

Not at all. Older wax-based and oil-based treatments often sealed the leather completely, reducing membrane performance. Bennon NANO uses microscopic nanoparticles that settle around individual fibers while leaving the spaces between them open. Water from the outside is blocked, but water vapor (sweat) can still escape freely.

How should I apply it to achieve the longest-lasting protection?

Always apply the spray to a perfectly clean and dry surface free from dust and mud. Shake the can thoroughly and spray from approximately 20 cm away in an even, thin layer. For maximum effectiveness, we recommend applying two light coats, allowing the first one to partially dry before applying the second. Leave the footwear to dry completely for at least 12 to 24 hours at room temperature before use.

How often should I reapply the protective layer to boots or backpacks?

This depends on usage intensity and mechanical wear. In demanding airsoft or mountain environments, where footwear constantly rubs against grass, branches and rocks, the nanoparticles gradually wear away. The easiest way to check is by observing water behavior. Once water no longer beads up and the material begins to darken from moisture absorption, it is time to clean the item, let it dry and reapply the treatment.
