The LCT AK Steel Dust Cover with RIS Rail is an easy way to upgrade a classic LCK platform with a full-length top mounting rail for a red dot sight or rifle scope. The assembly is built around a robust steel dust cover fitted with a lightweight 6061 aluminum RIS rail. Unlike a standard replacement dust cover, this design is mounted in place of the rear sight and hinges together with the dust cover, allowing convenient access underneath. The rail extends across almost the entire length of the cover, providing plenty of space to position your optic exactly where you need it. A rear sight cutout also allows the original iron sights to remain usable even without a mounted optic. Another major advantage over many other AK modernization solutions is that the installation does not reduce the battery compartment beneath the dust cover. At only 236 g, it provides a practical way to add a modern mounting interface without the bulk and weight of a traditional side mount.
