On the field it fills the role of a classic support machine gun designed for suppressive fire, covering team movement and controlling space. Inside you will find an equally robust LCT MIG gearbox (brick-type design similar to A&K gearboxes) with 18:1 steel gears, reinforced polycarbonate piston with full metal teeth, CNC nozzle, CNC cylinder head and CNC piston head. There is also a QSC aluminum spring guide, so to increase power in this factory-upgraded setup you only need a stronger spring. We still recommend adding a MOSFET unit to unlock the full potential and allow the use of 11.1V batteries. The drive is handled by a high-torque LCT motor rated at 26 700 RPM. Feeding comes from an electric 3000 BBs box magazine that does not auto-wind via sound control, but uses a dedicated wired switch, eliminating the common microphone winding issues during long bursts. The magazine is powered separately by 4 alkaline AA batteries (must be purchased separately). The CNC full metal hop-up chamber provides enough pressure even for heavier BBs, so there is no reason to replace it. The chamber is mounted in a quick-detach (QD) outer barrel similar to the real firearm. The recommended battery is a 7.4V Li-Pol since the trigger contacts do not include the MOSFET mentioned above. Low-resistance 18 AWG wiring runs to the stock behind the gearbox, and the ideal battery type is a compact block or buffer stick, though nunchuk or crane configurations will also fit. The manufacturer states a recommended size of 100 × 20 × 20 mm, but real space is slightly larger. The E4 variant became famous in Rambo II as a shortened version of the original Vietnam-era M60.
