The real Stoner M63 was an incredible versatile and adaptable platform, a modular design which could be configured as a rifle, a carbine, a box fed LMG or even a vehicle mounted weapon. G&P’s excellent Airsoft replica is configured in the M63’s box fed LMG variant, which saw limited service with the US Navy and Navy SEALs throughout the Vietnam war and well into the 1980s.

Constructed predominantly from die-cast aluminium, the Airsoft Stoner M63 tips the scales at a manageable 4.5Kg. Due to the M63’s unique modular rifle-LMG design, users (probably) won’t notice the additional weight, as the M63 handles similarly to the traditional AR design, largely down to the use of an AR style stock and pistol grip. The stock and pistol grip are realistically constructed from polymer. As a rear-wired weapon, the M63’s battery compartment is held in the stock – and unsurprisingly, there’s a lot of storage space for big batteries in there!

The M63 is a select fire weapon, capable of being shot in both fully-automatic and semi-automatic – quite a unique feature for a support weapon! Accordingly, the M63 is one of the very few Airsoft support guns which is indoors CQB-site friendly. Running on the tried and tested Version 2 gearbox, the M63 is highly customisable and will accept an incredibly wide range of upgrade components. The possibilities are almost limitless, allowing you to greatly enhance the performance of this already excellent AEG.

A unique trigger and box-magazine system has been created to ensure that this gun feeds flawlessly. Contacts send an electrical signal to the box magazine every time the trigger is pulled, telling the box magazine to feed BBs into the Airsoft gun, meaning you’ll always have ammunition ready to fire.

This modernised M63 has been enhanced with the addition of 20mm RIS rails, allowing the installation of a wide range of weapon accessories. The handguard / heatshield has rails on the lower face and both sides, providing ample room for foregrips, bipods, flashlights – even Airsoft grenade launchers, should you feel the need to add to your (already impressive) firepower. A 20mm rail on the top cover provides space for mounting optics, from red dot sights to magnified optics. The M63 also features built-in ironsights, which are fully windage and elevation adjustable.

Just like the real M63, the G&Ps Airsoft replica features a quick change barrel, which makes maintenance and cleaning of the Airsoft gun a breeze. The barrel is a beautiful fluted design, where excess external material has been carefully removed, reducing weight, increasing the barrel’s rigidity, and enhancing its overall aesthetics.

The unique blend of LMG and assault rifle makes this Airsoft gun perfect for Airsofters who like the idea of suppressive fire, but still want to be manoeuvrable on the battlefield.
