LCT ZRP-1 is an extended charging handle in the style of the ZenitCo RP-1 for AK / LCK Series airsoft rifles. It mounts directly onto the original charging handle and is secured with two screws. The larger gripping surface makes operating the charging handle and accessing the hop-up unit easier. The extension is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminium and steel...
LCT PK-286 is a complete upgrade assembly featuring a long bolt carrier with gas piston for airsoft rifles LCT AK (LCK Series). Compared with the standard PK-291 bolt carrier, this is a considerably more extensive assembly which, in addition to the bolt carrier itself, guide rod and return spring, also includes a long imitation gas piston. This allows the bolt carrier to be manually operated through its full range of movement – Full Travel, similar to handling a real AK platform. The movement of the metal components is also accompanied by a distinctive mechanical sound, making this upgrade primarily focused on more realistic handling and feel. However, this is not an EBB system; the bolt does not move automatically when firing and can only be operated manually. The long piston and guide assembly also occupy the space beneath the receiver cover, so the battery cannot remain above the gearbox after installation and the wiring must be relocated, depending on the specific configuration, for example into the stock or front section of the gun. Installation may also require a minor mechanical modification to the upper section of the gearbox shell to provide sufficient clearance for the long bolt carrier throughout its full range of movement.
The PK-286 is a Full Travel upgrade with a long imitation gas piston that allows the bolt carrier to be manually operated through a significantly greater range of movement. The PK-291 is a more conventional bolt carrier assembly with a guide rod and spring, without this long piston. The PK-286 is therefore primarily designed to provide more realistic handling.
No. The long gas piston, bolt carrier and guide assembly occupy the space where the battery is normally located in many LCT AK rifles. The wiring and battery must therefore be relocated to another part of the gun, such as a suitable stock or handguard, depending on the specific configuration.
Yes. To allow unrestricted Full Travel movement of the long bolt carrier, it is necessary to remove part of the upper protrusion of the gearbox shell. This upgrade is therefore intended for users experienced in servicing airsoft guns; if you are unsure, we recommend having the installation performed by an experienced technician.
No, the PK-286 is the long version. Compact designs such as the AKS-74U require the corresponding short LCT PK-285 version. When choosing the correct part, it is therefore important to follow the specific gun model rather than the AK platform alone.
