Due to its low weight, the manufacturer also recommends it for V2 gearboxes. The front features 9 holes through which air flows beneath the sealing O-ring during compression. The pressure expands it towards the cylinder wall and helps provide an effective seal for the piston assembly. The piston head also features an axial ball bearing that allows the spring to rotate more freely during compression, reducing torsional stress and contributing to longer spring life.
