AirsoftParts cylinder head shims are service parts designed to adjust the position of the cylinder head inside the gearbox. Each shim has a thickness of 0.5 mm, and with three pieces included, the amount of spacing can be adapted to the specific setup. The shims are made from stainless steel without any additional surface treatment. When adjusting the spacing, we recommend adding the shims one at a time and checking the correct seating of the cylinder head and alignment of the other air seal components after each change. The spacing must always be adapted to the specific gearbox and components used. The cylinder head must not move inside the gearbox, while both halves of the gearbox shell must still close correctly.
