AirsoftParts silent cylinder head is a CNC-machined component for AEG air seal systems made from EN AW 6012 T6 duralumin. Its design combines a sealing collar and a large rubber impact pad into a single component that seals the head inside the cylinder while helping to cushion mechanical shocks when the piston head impacts. Together with an additional sealing ring, it creates a double seal between the cylinder head and cylinder. The impact pad has a hardness of 80 ShA. The duralumin body features an electroless nickel-plated finish that creates a uniform and very smooth surface with high wear and corrosion resistance. According to the manufacturer, the surface hardness after plating reaches 660–850 HV (58–63 HRC). The low friction of the nickel-plated surface also promotes smooth nozzle movement over the outlet section of the cylinder head. The head weighs 10.1 g, is designed for V2 and V3 gearboxes, and the manufacturer specifies a maximum recommended spring of M170. Made in the Czech Republic.
