The full non-ported design provides the maximum usable cylinder air volume, which is particularly important when correctly matching the cylinder volume to a longer inner barrel. The cylinder is made of stainless steel, has an inner diameter of 23.95 mm and a smooth inner surface for smooth movement and proper operation of the piston head sealing O-ring. Gen 1.2 features revised dimensions for better compatibility and a smoother inner surface compared with the previous version. The manufacturer also specifies concentric machining, a ground surface finish and cooling grooves around the outer circumference for improved heat dissipation at high RoF. The cylinder weighs 32.6 g, is designed for V2 / V3 gearboxes and other compatible gearboxes. The maximum recommended spring is M170.

What Inner Barrel Length Is the Full Cylinder Designed For?
When selecting the correct cylinder type, inner barrel length is therefore a key factor, but for the correct calculation of Volume Ratio (the ratio of cylinder air volume to barrel volume), it is also important to consider the weight of the BBs used or the piston weight with regard to a possible Joule Creep effect. For optimal performance, the manufacturer recommends combining it with AirsoftParts components. The manufacturer recommends this full cylinder for guns with inner barrels 400 mm long or longer, such as certain M16, DMR AR15, AUG or AK (AKM, AK-47, AK-74) configurations.
What Is the Difference Between a Full and Ported Cylinder?
A full cylinder has no port that shortens the working compression space, so it uses a larger air volume than a corresponding ported cylinder. This is why full cylinders are primarily used with longer inner barrels.
