Tridos OwlSet RIS Rail for T1 Mounting Base
The Tridos RIS rail is a practical upgrade for OwlSet and Guide thermal setups where adding a backup red dot sight directly above the optic makes sense. Unlike a traditional offset mount, the red dot remains aligned with the rifle's bore, making the transition between the thermal monocular and the red dot faster and more natural. The rail features 3 Picatinny slots, providing enough space for most compact red dot sights. The lightweight aluminium construction also increases the overall rigidity of the setup because it mounts directly to the Tridos T1 mount with killflash. An ideal solution for players who combine thermal imaging for longer distances with a red dot sight for CQB.

Does it mount directly to the thermal monocular?
No. It requires a Tridos T1 mount with compatible threaded side holes.
How much higher does it position the red dot?
Expect a higher optical axis than with a standard mount. That's the trade-off for combining a thermal monocular and a red dot sight in one setup.
