How does the Helikon CHINOOK perform in demanding conditions?
The jacket uses a 2.5-layer polyurethane membrane that blocks rain and wind from the outside while allowing moisture to escape from the body. A 20 000 mm water column provides reliable protection even in heavy rain and wind. Breathability of 20 000 g/m²/24 h ensures low resistance to sweat evaporation, which you will appreciate during movement in the field, at the range, or during active duty. Taped seams and a high-quality YKK® two-way zipper combined with Prym fasteners ensure sealing without limiting smooth operation. The surface features a PFC-free DWR finish that repels water and dirt while slowing down fabric saturation.
