The TYPE 2 Back Panel is designed as a compact storage platform mounted directly to the JPC 2.0 plate carrier, eliminating the need for a separate backpack or shoulder straps. It attaches via two side zippers compatible with JPC 2.0 systems and is additionally secured by MOLLE webbing to keep the panel firmly in place during movement. The layout consists of four individual compartments with reinforced zippers for increased durability. Two large utility pockets and two smaller upper pockets provide organized storage for equipment, accessories, rain gear, and other essentials for a full day in the field. No. Your carrier must feature JPC 2.0-compatible side zippers. It cannot be attached to standard MOLLE-only carriers without modifications.
Can I access it without taking off my plate carrier?
Partially. The panel is primarily designed for buddy access or use after removing the carrier, although you can still reach the external magazine pouch yourself.
What can I realistically carry inside?
