Opening and closing with the Easy Lock mechanism

• Opening
  
  a) Classic flick of the baton (vertical, diagonal, upward) so the individual tubes lock together.
  b) Pulling by the tip.
  c) Automatically using the supplied BHT-54 holster, where the baton deploys automatically when drawn (the mechanism on the holster can be removed).
  
  
  
• Closing
  Press the button at the end of the grip, then manually retract the baton.

Warning

• Never close the baton by striking the tip without pressing the release button (as with Friction Lock models). This would damage the locks.
• Due to the Easy Lock mechanism at the front of the grip, no accessories can be installed on the baton (except inspection mirrors).
