The Fenix ARE-D2 is a compact USB charger with two independent charging channels, designed for Li-ion and NiMH/NiCd rechargeable batteries. It’s perfect for travel thanks to its small size and lightweight design. When charged Li-ion batteries are inserted, it can also function as a backup power bank via USB. The clear LCD display shows battery type, voltage, and other parameters. Each slot is independently monitored, allowing for simultaneous charging of different battery types and sizes. Charging current can be selected between 500 mA, 1000 mA, and 2000 mA (2000 mA only in one slot). The charger offers advanced protection against overcharging, short-circuit, overheating, and reverse polarity. Charging current and voltage are selected automatically based on battery type.
