It replaces the original aluminum barrel base, which is prone to play and insufficient barrel support. The steel construction with 6 set screws significantly reduces barrel and handguard wobble, improving the stability of the entire assembly and reinforcing the rifle.

AirsoftPro Steel Barrel Housing for SVD Gen.2
The second-generation AirsoftPro steel barrel base addresses the weak points of the original manual SVD rifle design. The base is machined from a single block of steel using precise CNC machining, providing greater strength and a more accurate fit inside the outer barrel. Compared to the original design, it is longer and secures the inner barrel using six set screws arranged in a star pattern, preventing movement in all directions. It is compatible with both the original hop-up chamber and the AirsoftPro CNC hop-up chamber, and installation takes approximately five minutes.
