What Is the SorboPad by EPeS Good For?

You can't silence an airsoft rifle just with a suppressor because the loudest noise comes from inside the gun — the piston head slamming into the cylinder head and the spring resonance. A suppressor with foam padding won't help much if the internals are loud — it's like a band-aid on a deep wound. The real solution is to dampen the internal impact. One of the best tools for this is the SorboPad (along with silencing hollow cavities and reducing spring resonance).
SorboPad acts as a shock-absorbing pad for the piston, similar to an airbag. It’s installed directly on the cylinder head and absorbs the piston impact, not only quieting the shot but also protecting internal parts from mechanical stress. The name comes from Sorbothane – a patented shock-absorbing and vibration-dampening material made in the USA. The contact area is reinforced with a 1 mm PU protective layer.

This is a SorboPad only for manual sniper rifles with 22 mm cylinder diameter such as Tokyo Marui VSR-10, VSR-One, Well MB03, CA M24 LTR, CYMA CM.700, Novritsch SSG10 and other VSR standard rifles. For L96 / M24 rifles with 20 mm cylinder diameter, use the SorboPad Sniper L96 / M24.
