How can I identify a Gen2 magazine?

A Gen1 magazine can be identified by its completely flat rubber gasket on top and two metal pins on the sides securing the base. The newer Gen2 version features a curved top gasket that provides a much better seal with the pistol nozzle. After sliding off the baseplate, Gen2 magazines also use a single large center screw instead of side pins.

Will replacing the seals fix gas leaks?

In most cases, yes. Worn or damaged seals are the most common cause of gas leaks between magazine components.

Do the seals need lubrication?

Yes. We recommend applying a small amount of silicone oil during installation. This improves sealing performance and extends seal lifespan.
