What Is the EPeS SorboPad Good For?

You can’t silence an airsoft rifle just with a suppressor because the loudest sound of airsoft rifles comes from inside — from the piston head slamming into the cylinder head and spring resonance. A suppressor with foam is mostly for show unless you reduce the noise at the source. The first step to silence your rifle is to reduce these internal impacts. One of the best tools for this is the SorboPad (along with foam filling inside the rifle and reducing spring resonance).
Sorbopad works as a shock-absorbing pad for the piston, like an airbag. It's installed directly on the cylinder head and absorbs impacts, which reduces noise and protects internal parts. The name comes from the material Sorbothane®, a special shock and vibration absorbing compound patented and produced in the USA. The contact surface with the piston head is protected by a 1mm PU cover.

Warning

This is a SorboPad specifically made for manual sniper rifles with a 20 mm cylinder such as the Well MB01 (L96), CA M24, SW M24 and Novritsch SSG24 / SSG96. For rifles like VSR with a 22 mm cylinder, choose the SorboPad Sniper VSR.
