SPIDER MPC 5.56 Magazine Platform

Looking for a pouch for your SPIDER MPC plate carrier that’s tailor-made for the magazines of your tuned M4? A pouch that makes access to magazines easier, so you’ve got them instantly at hand, while still standing up to rough handling in Mil-Sim airsoft? Then look no further, because this platform ticks every box. It’s sized precisely for the VELCRO field on our SPIDER MPC carrier, so it fits like a glove and sticks like a limpet. Heavy-duty Cordura nylon delivers excellent durability, so it’ll handle a bit of abuse. This flap is inspired by the popular Thorax model from Haley Strategic, featuring a well-thought-out design that locks magazines in place extremely securely. If that’s still not enough, they’re additionally retained with elastic paracord and a pull tab you can easily find even with gloves on. The elastic construction also keeps a very low profile, so it won’t block your view underfoot while running through obstacles. It also makes access to a dangler pouch or waist packs easier (we recommend adding our upgraded KEBAG waist pack).

Recommendation

To get the most out of the 5.56 platform, we recommend adding plastic magazine inserts (for example WOSP121). They clamp your magazine firmly and won’t let go even if you start rolling around. They also speed up reinserting magazines by helping the pouch keep its shape.
