The company Maruzen is a renowned Japanese manufacturer of airsoft guns, known for its precision and craftsmanship. One of their most remarkable products is the gas pistol Walther PPK/S, which is a faithful airsoft replica of the legendary pistol Walther PP.

History of the Walther PP Pistol

Walther PP (Polizeipistole, or police pistol) was designed and manufactured at the beginning of Nazi Germany in 1935. Its smaller version, PPK (kurz, which means short in German), gained worldwide fame thanks to the film series James Bond, where it was used by the famous agent 007. PPK was popular not only with the British MI6 and the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom, but also with the MACVSOG Recon Skydiver team of the United States Armed Forces. The pistol also has a richer history – Adolf Hitler committed suicide with his personal PPK and this weapon was also used in the assassination of a former South Korean leader.
