RetroArms CNC V2 gearbox (8 mm) for VFC M4 / AR15 QSC is a reinforced foundation for VFC AEG airsoft guns with a V2 gearbox. The precision CNC-machined body made from 7075 T6 aluminium alloy is designed for 8 mm bearings and features a QSC quick spring change system. The package includes mounting hardware and a QSC spring guide with a ball bearing. It does not fit standard TM-spec M4 rifles.

RetroArms CNC V2 gearbox for VFC with quick spring change
RetroArms CNC V2 gearbox for VFC is a durable replacement for the original gearbox shell, designed for upgrading and building compatible VFC M4 / AR15 AEG airsoft guns. The body is CNC-machined from 7075 T6 aluminium alloy, providing a strong and precisely manufactured construction suitable even for more demanding builds. The gearbox is designed for 8 mm bearings and uses the QSC (Quick Spring Change) system, which makes it easier to replace the spring without completely disassembling the gearbox. The package also includes mounting screws and a QSC spring guide with a steel ball bearing, which allows the spring to rotate more freely during compression and helps reduce unwanted twisting. This version is specifically designed for VFC, although manufacturing tolerances of the particular gun and internal components must still be taken into account when building the assembly. The manufacturer explicitly warns that a MAXX Model cylinder head must not be used with this gearbox. Installing a CNC gearbox requires correct assembly, shimming and adjustment of the internal components, so it should not be considered a universally Plug & Play part without first verifying the specific build.
