The M20T solves exactly what conventional earplugs cannot – hearing protection without losing awareness of your surroundings. Two microphones capture ambient sounds and play them back inside the earplugs, while loud impulse noises above 82 dB (gunshots, explosions, pyrotechnics) are instantly reduced to a safe level. This allows you to hear conversations, movement, and environmental details while still protecting your hearing. Switching between Outdoor, Indoor, and Silent modes lets you adapt to different environments—open terrain, indoor shooting ranges, or Bluetooth audio only. When connected to your phone, the earplugs also work as a hands-free headset, allowing you to make calls even in noisy environments. Their lightweight design and multiple ear tip sizes ensure a secure and comfortable fit, even during extended use.

Are they better suited for airsoft or the shooting range?

They are primarily designed for the shooting range, where they protect your hearing from gunfire. In airsoft, you'll mainly benefit from the amplification of footsteps, conversations, and surrounding movement. They are also much less bulky than traditional earmuffs. However, they do not provide physical ear protection and do not feature a PTT connector for radio communication.

Do they stay securely in your ears while moving?

Yes. When you choose the correct ear tip size, they stay securely in place even while running or moving quickly. We recommend trying both the foam and silicone tips to find the best fit.

Does Bluetooth work while active hearing protection is enabled?

Yes. The earplugs can simultaneously play music or phone calls while protecting your hearing and amplifying ambient sounds. In practice, you'll hear both your teammates and your phone, even during gunfire and explosions.

How long does the battery last in real-world use?

Approximately one full day of gameplay (around 6–8 hours depending on the selected mode and volume). The charging case provides multiple additional charges, making it easy to last through an entire weekend event.

Is there any delay or background noise when amplifying sounds?

Latency is minimal and virtually unnoticeable during normal use. A slight background hiss may be present at higher amplification levels, which is common for active hearing protection, but it is usually masked by ambient sounds outdoors.
