The PTS Enhanced Polymer Magazine (EPM-1) is one of the best mid-cap magazines for AEG M4 / AR15 rifles, designed in the style of MAGPUL magazines. This magazine features an impressive capacity of 250 BBs and legendary feeding reliability across all PTS magazines. Constructed from extremely durable DuPont Zytel polymer, it withstands intense battlefield use. A unique feature is the orange BB count indicator in the transparent side window, allowing a quick check of remaining ammunition. When the last BB is fired, the orange follower appears to indicate an empty magazine. The high-quality spring and follower ensure reliable operation even at extreme rates of fire or in DMR rifles with heavy BBs up to 0.49g without jamming or slow feeding.
To achieve 100% performance when fully loaded, it's essential to eliminate the so-called "Midcap Syndrome," where excessive BB pressure on the nozzle reduces muzzle velocity (initially firing the first 50 BBs at 30-60 m/s). This can be resolved by shortening the tappet plate spring and ensuring that the cylinder head and nozzle align properly with the hop-up chamber, preventing any unwanted play between the nozzle and cylinder head.
The magazine baseplate features a new angled design for improved stability during supported shooting and easier handling when removing the magazine from pouches.

Warnings & Recommendations

• A BB speed loader is required for filling, not included in the package.
• Always store magazines unloaded to prolong spring life.
• Before first use, fill the magazine with only 20 BBs, release them, then repeat the process with 40 BBs. Continue increasing by 20 BBs until full to gradually break in the spring.
• Requires a strong tappet plate spring for 100% performance when fully loaded with 250 BBs.
