The full-metal receiver with durable Nano Coating finish features licensed COLT and M4A1 markings along with the Rampant Colt logo. The front RIS handguard allows you to mount foregrips, weapon lights, laser modules and other accessories, while the removable carry handle retains the classic military appearance and, once removed, exposes the top RIS rail for a red dot sight or rifle scope. At the heart of the rifle is a reinforced Æther™ V2 gearbox with 8 mm bearings, steel gears, a piston with a full-metal rack and high-quality compression components. The HAL² ETU™ electronic unit uses the Hall effect for extremely precise trigger detection across up to 500 positions and, thanks to Bluetooth, can be configured through the Specna Link™ mobile app. Players can adjust trigger sensitivity, pre-cocking, SEMI, BINARY, BURST and AUTO modes, burst length or RoF and monitor the status of the rifle and battery. Accuracy is provided by the rotary TDC Magnus hop-up unit, Helium™ Flat Hop bucking and precision 6.03 mm inner barrel. The ESA™ system also allows quick replacement of the main spring without disassembling the gearbox. The result is a modern AEG that retains the authentic appearance of a service M4A1 while offering the features of today's electronically controlled airsoft rifles.

Recommendations and warnings

• HAL² ETU™ is not compatible with brushless / BLDC motors. Do not install a brushless motor in the rifle. Its use with this electronic unit is not supported by the manufacturer and may cause the system to malfunction.
• Battery and charger are not included and must be purchased separately.
• Whenever changing the spring, always check the resulting power output with a chronograph and comply with the limits of the specific field or event.
• When not in use, do not leave the battery connected to the rifle.
• Before first use, the HAL² ETU™ unit must be calibrated.

Important instructions before using the rifle

Before you can fire the rifle, you must activate the HAL² ETU™ unit and follow this procedure exactly. Otherwise, the rifle will not respond when the battery is connected:

1. Set the fire selector to Safe.
2. Connect the battery and wait 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
3. Pull the trigger and hold it for 5 seconds until you hear another beep.
4. The rifle is now ready for use.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Can a brushless motor be installed in the rifle?

No. HAL² ETU™ does not support brushless / BLDC motors. If you plan to replace the motor, use a compatible conventional brushed AEG motor.

What can be configured via the Specna Link™ app?

Bluetooth allows you to adjust settings such as trigger sensitivity, pre-cocking, RoF, fire modes and burst length. The app also allows you to save profiles, monitor battery status and display operating and telemetry data from the rifle.
