Specna Arms M4 CORE™ Gen2 relies on a lightweight yet durable fibreglass-reinforced nylon CORE™ receiver with a realistic matte finish that can withstand rougher handling, as it is stronger than cheap cast-alloy receivers. The metal outer barrel with a 14mm CCW thread and steel components such as screws, pins and the ejection port provide strength exactly where it is needed. The result is an extremely lightweight yet robust AEG assault rifle with excellent handling. The controls of the AR15 (M4) platform are intuitive and easy to get used to. It also features an ambidextrous charging handle, a clear fire selector and easy access to the hop-up adjustment through the ejection port. The Keymod handguard allows you to mount accessories such as a foregrip, tactical flashlight or laser PEQ box. The spacious Crane Stock with QD sling swivel points provides stable support for accurate aimed fire. The battery is installed in the buffer tube, so a Buffer Stick battery can be used, while larger Nunchuk and Crane batteries can be stored inside the stock. Overall, this is a capable rifle combining low weight, a proven design and excellent Gen2 internals in one affordable package. Instructions for putting the gun into operation

Before you can fire the gun, you must activate the HAL ETU unit and follow this procedure exactly. Otherwise, the gun will not respond to the connected battery:

1. Set the fire selector to Safe.
2. Connect the battery and wait 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
3. Press and hold the trigger for 5 seconds until you hear another beep.
4. The gun is now ready for use.

Warnings

• The battery and charger are not included and must be purchased separately.
• Before first use, the HAL ETU™ unit must be calibrated (see above).
• Springs from some manufacturers are significantly overrated in terms of actual power (e.g. an M130 spring may deliver performance corresponding to M140-150), which could exceed the declared durability of the gearbox. We recommend using only the supplied Specna Arms springs. When using springs from other manufacturers, we recommend choosing springs rated at M120 to reduce the risk of damage caused by a spring whose actual strength does not correspond to its marking.
• When replacing the spring with one featuring progressive (non-uniform) winding, make sure that the end with the tighter coils is positioned on the spring guide, facing outwards from the gearbox.
• Never store the gun with the battery connected.
• Never store the gun with pre-cocking activated. Before storage, always release the piston to its forward position to prevent unnecessary stress and potential damage to the spring.

What ammunition (BBs) is ideal for this gun?

Thanks to the 6.03 mm precision inner barrel and TDC hop-up unit with Flat-Hop bucking, the gun can easily handle heavier BBs. For optimum accuracy, range and consistent grouping, we recommend high-quality 0.28 g BBs. The ideal BB weight may vary depending on the current performance of the gun and the spring used.

What should I do with the gun before storing it after an airsoft game?

After the game, always disconnect the battery, as the processor unit electronics may draw a small amount of current even in standby mode. If you use the Pre-cocking function, release the piston to its forward position before storing the gun. This prevents the spring from remaining compressed for an extended period and avoids unnecessary stress on the internal components.
