Light Machine Gun M249

The M249, also known as the FN Minimi, is a light machine gun developed by the Belgian company FN Herstal in the 1970s. Initially designed as a multipurpose support weapon that combines high firing rate with relatively low weight. Thanks to its capability to fire from both magazines and belts, it offers versatility for armed forces needing flexibility.
The weapon was adopted by the U.S. military in 1984 under the designation M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) and became well-known for its reliability and ability to provide continuous fire support at short and medium ranges. Internal Components

The SA-F249 PARA FLEX™ GATE X-ASR™ replica is equipped with the MOSFET X-ASR module by the Polish company GATE. It ensures safe switching, protects internal components, improves trigger response, extends battery life, and increases firing rate, while allowing for the safe use of Li-Po batteries at 7.4V and 11.1V. Integrated status LEDs allow the module to diagnose basic weapon faults.

The weapon comes with a 6.03 mm precision barrel and an adjustable Hop-up chamber with a quality rubber for excellent range.
It also includes the increasingly standard QSC ESA (Quick Spring Change) system, allowing you to install a stronger or weaker spring as desired. The spring can be replaced easily by folding back the stock without needing to remove the gearbox.
AETHER™ gearbox is reinforced and works with springs up to M135 (as specified by Specna Arms in its PRIME™ models).
