MK46 MOD 0 T8 SP Systems is a highly detailed replica of the FN Herstal MK46 (Minimi), produced in collaboration between A&K, CYBERGUN, and SP Systems. This licensed airsoft gun features authentic markings from the Belgian firearms manufacturer FN Herstal, offering players a realistic shooting experience. With its steel, aluminum, and polymer construction, it provides high durability and robustness while maintaining a reasonable weight of just over 5 kg. The A&K M249 series has been a staple in the airsoft world for some time, but the new T8 SP Systems version introduces a completely redesigned machine gun.

External components

The top cover features a RIS rail for mounting red dot sights or scopes. The weapon is equipped with an adjustable CRANE stock mounted on an AR15-standard buffer tube. Despite the buffer tube, the wiring with a T-DEANS connector runs into the handguard, which has ample space for Stick, Nunchuk, or Crane-type batteries. The barrel features a 14-mm CCW thread for flash suppressors and a QD lever for quick barrel removal for maintenance or transport. The CNC-machined body ensures precise craftsmanship, including a real-size pistol grip and safety lever. The magazine feed system has been upgraded, allowing the adapter to be placed directly under the top cover, similar to the real FN Herstal Minimi (M249).
The electric magazine holds up to 2000 BBs, making it ideal for providing sustained suppressive fire. The 5.56 imitation ammo belt adds to the weapon's realism. The improved sound-controlled feeding system ensures accurate BB feeding, with the microphone placed to better respond to the firing sound. The base of the magazine houses a compartment for a 9V battery (not included).

Internal components

The T8 SP MK46 operates exclusively in full-auto mode, excelling in this role. It features a high-torque motor paired with a microswitch. Inside the redesigned T8 SP M249/MK46 gearbox, you'll find CNC steel gears (18:1 ratio), a reinforced piston with 14 metal teeth, a polished stainless steel cylinder with a port, and 8mm ball bearings for smooth operation. A CNC QSC spring guide ensures quick spring changes, and the weapon comes equipped with an M120-equivalent spring.
The MK46 includes a metal hop-up chamber with a rotary dial for consistent BB compression, extending range and accuracy. Combined with a 6.03mm precision barrel, the weapon offers exceptional accuracy for its class.
