"Tokyo Marui added the Cz75 First Model to its line of retractable airguns in 1996. For the company, it was an ambitious piece of work featuring the 'first integrally molded breech in the series'.
At the same time, a magazine article by Ichiro Nagata, a popular firearms reporter living in the United States, sparked interest in the Cz75 First Model among fans, and the 'Gunsmith' manga seems to have been greatly influenced by the article.
