Is the SKELETOOL CX suitable as my only multitool?
Honestly—yes and no. If you're looking for a lightweight EDC tool that handles around 90% of everyday tasks, it's an excellent choice. However, if you regularly need a saw, scissors, or a more comprehensive toolset, a full-size model like the Wave or Surge will be a better fit.
How does the 154CM blade perform in real use?
It's one of the biggest advantages of the CX version. It holds an edge significantly longer than standard steels such as 420HC while still being easy enough to sharpen at home. It's an excellent balance between edge retention and ease of maintenance.
Does the low weight really make a difference?
Absolutely. This is one of the few multitools that people genuinely carry every day. It won't weigh down your pocket or pull on your belt, which is exactly why it becomes your everyday companion.
Does the multitool require maintenance?
