AirsoftPro Silent POM NBU Piston Head

The AirsoftPro silent piston head is designed for New Bore-Up setups and is compatible with most NBU compression systems from common manufacturers. The lightweight yet durable POM body is fitted with a stainless steel threaded core and a rubber impact pad that cushions piston impacts. Six air channels direct compressed air beneath the O-ring, causing it to expand during firing for improved air sealing. The piston head also features a ball bearing that allows the spring to rotate more freely during compression, reducing spring resistance. A unique serrated lock washer helps prevent the piston head from loosening during use. For proper operation, it is intended only for cylinder heads with a funnel-shaped inlet and is not suitable for flat-faced cylinder heads or very powerful springs.
