Historical Background: P08 Parabellum
The original P08 Parabellum, also known as the Luger, was developed in Germany at the turn of the 20th century and became an iconic sidearm of the German military during both World Wars. It was one of the first widely adopted semi-automatic pistols in history. Produced from 1900 into the 1940s, notable manufacturers included Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) and Mauser.
